Transitional & Contemporary Kitchen Design

Renovations always present their own unique set of challenges. This home, in particular, was built not even five years ago which made the kitchen fairly new! The layout and finishes were a little lackluster, but we also knew we couldn't just replace everything in the same spot. By removing a window on the back wall and adding the sink to the island, it allowed us to take advantage of the height of the ceiling and add a custom-built range hood. This also allowed the client to have a better flow in the kitchen, while still being a part of the action in the living room where the company and family would gather. Oh, and did I mention the ocean views in the living room? I know if I have to wash dishes, I'd rather wash dishes while looking at the ocean too.
